Booking a visit

How far ahead should I book a notary visit?

A day or two ahead gives you the widest choice of times. Same-day visits are often possible — see urgent notary.

Can I change the time of my visit?

Yes — tell us at least 24 hours ahead on WhatsApp and we’ll move it free of charge. Later changes and cancellations follow our refund and cancellation policy.

Can several people sign during one visit?

Yes. Each signer must be present with their own ID. Tell us the number of signers when you ask for a quote, because official fees are charged per signer.

ID and the documents you sign

What ID does the notary accept?

A valid NRIC, passport, or Singapore work or residence pass with your photo. The name on the ID should match the name on the document.

I’ve already signed my document. Is that a problem?

Usually, yes. The notary has to witness your signature, so bring the document unsigned. If it’s already signed, you may need a fresh copy.

Can a document in another language be notarised?

The notary must understand what you are signing. For documents not in English we can add a certified translation as a combo — most often Chinese, Vietnamese, Hindi, Tamil, Malay, Arabic, Thai, Japanese, Korean and the main European languages — or arrange an interpreter for the visit.

Paying

Can my company get one invoice for several jobs?

Yes. Companies with regular work can use a monthly retainer and one invoice. Corporate services.

Do your prices include GST?

Our fees are not subject to GST. The SAL fees (S$87.20 for a notarised document, S$10.70 for a Singapore public document) already include GST.

How can I pay?

PayNow, bank transfer or card — all online. Card payments may include a small processing fee.

When do I pay?

Official fees (notary, SAL and embassy) are paid before we lodge them, because we pay them out on your behalf and the authorities do not refund them. For our own fee you choose what suits you: pay in full upfront, pay a deposit and the balance on completion, or pay in full on completion before your documents are handed back. Companies can settle on a monthly invoice.

Tracking and delivery

How will I know where my document is?

We message you at each step: signed, submitted to SAL, apostille issued, at the embassy, out for delivery.

Can you send the finished document straight to the person abroad?

Yes, by international courier with tracking. Tell us the address when you accept the quote.

Do you keep a copy of my finished document?

We keep copies for 3 days after delivery, in case anything needs checking, and then delete them. How we handle documents.
