Proxy notary · document runner
Proxy Notary Service — We Run Your Notary, SAL and Embassy Errands
A proxy can do almost all of the running for you — collecting originals, getting certified copies, filing with the Singapore Academy of Law, queuing at embassies and delivering the result. What a proxy can never do is sign, swear or declare in your place. For those steps we bring the notary to you, so either way you don’t have to go anywhere.
What a proxy can and can’t do for you
What a proxy can legally do for you
- Collect your originals from your home or office and return them
- Take documents to a notary public for certified true copies
- File Singapore government-issued documents with SAL for an apostille
- Submit and collect documents at embassies for legalisation
- Order fresh copies of company records where you’re entitled to them
- Courier the finished document to you or to the recipient abroad
What only you can do: signing and swearing
Signatures, oaths, affirmations and statutory declarations must be made personally, in front of the notary public, by the person whose name is on the document. No runner, relative or employee can do this for you — and a service that offers to is putting your document at risk of rejection.
When your document needs your signature, we send a mobile notary to wherever you are.
Jobs we can finish without you appearing
| Job | What we need from you |
|---|---|
| Apostille on a Singapore birth, marriage or death certificate | Original certificate + authorisation letter |
| Certified true copies of a degree or transcript, then apostille | Originals + authorisation letter |
| ACRA business profile, certificate of good standing or incorporation, apostilled | Company details + authorisation from a director |
| Embassy legalisation of a document that is already apostilled | The apostilled document + authorisation letter |
For certified copies of a passport or NRIC, the notary may need to see you briefly to confirm your identity; we’ll tell you before you book.
The letter of authorisation for your runner
For RUNNER jobs you sign a short letter authorising us to carry, submit and collect your documents. It names the documents, the purpose and the offices involved. We send you a pre-filled version with your quote; you sign it and hand it over with the originals.
