Urgent & Weekend Notary in Singapore — Same-Day Visits When the Deadline Can’t Move
If you need a document notarised today, tonight or this weekend, WhatsApp us now. A notary visit can often be arranged the same day. Before you pay, we’ll tell you honestly which steps can be finished by your deadline and which depend on SAL or an embassy.
Fastest reply is on WhatsApp.
What can realistically be finished today
| Step | Can it be same-day? |
|---|---|
| Notary visit and signing | Often yes, subject to notary availability |
| Notarial certificate | Yes, issued at or right after the visit |
| SAL apostille | Filed next working day; usually 1–3 working days; SAL controls this |
| Embassy legalisation | Depends entirely on the embassy |
| Courier abroad | Depends on the destination |
If your recipient only needs the notarised document, same-day is often possible. If they need the apostille too, plan for SAL’s working days.
Evening, Saturday and Sunday slots
| Day | Notary visit slots |
|---|---|
| Monday – Friday | 9 am – 9 pm (urgent surcharge after 6 pm) |
| Saturday | 10 am – 6 pm |
| Sunday & public holidays | 10 am – 4 pm (by appointment) |
Weekend and evening notarisation is available. SAL apostille filing happens on the next working day.
SAL’s counter is open Monday to Friday, 9 am to 4:30 pm, and closed on weekends and public holidays — so a document signed on Saturday is filed on the next working day. Visits outside office hours take place at your home, office, hotel or hospital.
What slows an urgent job down
- The document is already signed — it must be signed in front of the notary
- A signer’s ID doesn’t match the name on the document
- The recipient’s template or instructions arrive late
- A company signer can’t show their authority to sign
- The document needs translation first
Save hours with your first message
Send us the document and the recipient’s instructions in your first WhatsApp and we can spot these problems before the visit.
The urgent surcharge, shown upfront
Visits after 6 pm, at weekends, on public holidays or on the same day carry a surcharge of S$29 on top of the official fees and the visit fee (from S$79). You see the full amount before you say yes.
